As our cities and town grow larger so does the issue of waste management. Municipalities are unable to cater to the increasing population in the cities due to which there is growing waste. This has given birth to a generation of waste pickers. Due to ineffective waste management cities and towns are often faced with various health hazards like malaria and jaundice. In this section we share the issues faced by waste pickers, citizens and the possible solutions to make waste management more efficient and sustainable.
