<p>To bring about community awareness, participatory development for the community in and around the SV Oriental College, Tirupati and to provide a communication platform for them for educational, cultural and devotional wellbeing.</p>

<p>The residents of Tirupati are very traditional and are often overwhelmed by the much larger floating population of pilgrims to this temple city. The CR medium can act as an instrument to protect and promote their community interests and can serve as a platform for community participation.</p>

SVFM CRS Tirupati broadcasts on 90.4 MHz for 12 hours in two slots between 6:00 am – 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Vidya Saurabham	Information on different academic openings in various Universities and Institutes of higher education are designed and broadcast.
Kalasikshana	Through this programme training in different audio based fine arts such as playing Mridangam, light music, etc. are planned and broadcast.

<p>Signature Programme Educational quiz, Astavadhanam Community Participation Quiz programmes Innovations in format Astavadhanam &ndash; a traditional poetic format in which a poet&rsquo;s spontaneous creation, wit, erudition, memory and literary talents are challenged by a group of peers. The format is adopted for radio and brodcast.</p>

<p>The station has had a good impact. Yet, better results can be obtained if range and power of the station is augmented for better impact and utility.</p>
