Venue: New Delhi
Date: 30th August 2019

The workshop was attended by more than 50 CR Stations from all over the country and focused on the role of CR Stations at various stages of DRR (before, after and during disasters). While domain experts tried to build a clear understanding of various aspects of DRR, representatives of CR Stations shared their experiences and challenges in the context of disasters and how they have been innovating on the go to reduce disaster related risks. At the end of the workshop, based on mutual exchange of information and knowledge on enhancing the role of CR in DRR and environmental sustainability, some CR Stations set out to produce sample radio programmes in various languages for broadcasting and also sharing for learning in the CR sector.
